AAFCANS or its agents operated food services on 40 Army and Air Force bases and joint ADF facilities throughout Australia. The service was provided from direct operations on 27 bases and the remaining four locations under subcontract agreements with independent operators. AAFCANS vending program operates on 36 Defence bases or facilities across 7 states/territories.
AAFCANS delivered services through a variety of facilities including canteens, kiosks, mobile food vans and convenience outlets such as a bistro, post office and convenience stores and fuel stations.
