Supporting visiting troops


Australia and US Forces complete Exercise Koolendong in the Northern Territory. Australian Army soldiers and US Marines from the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin (MRF‑D) have completed a live-fire, high-end warfighting exercise in the Northern Territory. Exercise Koolendong was conducted at Mount Bundey Training Area from 21 to 29 August to enhance readiness, increase interoperability and strengthen regional partnerships.

AAFCANS Robertson Barracks, supported the US Marines and ADF participants on exercise Koolendong. Mobile food vans were deployed to the training area to support the troops with refreshments and amenities.
Requests have come through to connect continuing support for future events.
