Who We Are
AAFCANS (Army & Air Force Canteen Service) as a Commonwealth entity and a member of the Defence family continues to invest in facilities and technologies to improve our products and services on base and on exercise. Our organisation exists solely to provide Defence members with access to quality food, beverages and retail items and to support base welfare. AAFCANS gives back to Defence through welfare disbursements, price cuts and facility improvements.

Being part of Defence, AAFCANS puts loyalty on a pedestal. We proudly support those who support us and have dedicated loyalty offers for ADF members.
Disbursements, promotions and price cuts are just some of the ways we give back. However, it’s our AAFCANS Coffee Loyalty Card which has proven to be particularly popular.
Social Club Support
Social Clubs and RTFs are starting to benefit from access to AAFCANS wholesale pricing, discounts and supplier trade promotions. The convenient on-base deliveries via AAFCANS has also been well received. Supply includes coffee machines and support services, grocery and alcohol products.

Facility Improvements
The money you spend at AAFCANS stays within the Defence family and any surplus funds are channelled into future investment, continuous innovation and improvement to facilities and services for soldiers, airmen & airwomen.
From FY 2009 to FY 2019 AAFCANS invested almost 9.5M into capital investments and facility improvements, with a further 1.4M scheduled for FY2020 and 1.1M planned for FY2021.
